We are planning a number of studies in the course of the five-year period. The research has been divided into five Working Packages. We are simultaneously working on the five Working Packages, so they do not follow one another in time. In Working Package 1 we gather macro statistics data on alcohol consumption and its consequences and we carry out trend analysis. segregated populations’ consumption habits using mixed methods (qualitative and small sample surveys) in wine and spirit producing micro-regions near the Hungarian border with a high alcohol-attributable mortality. Working Package 4 includes three studies: large-scale survey among the adult population, online research among students, and focus group study among young people. Working Package 4 examines, among other things, risk behaviours, ICT use, leisure time use and generation gap. Working Package 5 focuses on the media representation of risk behaviours and young people's attitudes towards the representations.
